Bergstadens Hotel & Spa - Roros

The staff are friendly and provide great service. The rooms are comfortable with their own little terrace and the breakfast provided a wonderful selection of interesting foods with enough food for every taste, including local products.

We truly enjoyed our stay at Bergstadens Hotel. Especially the breakfast buffet was very good. The location of the hotel made it very easy to get to the main attractions of Roros (and close to the railway which was nice with -22 degrees C). Highly recommended

We didn't ask, but it could have been nice to have the room a bit late on Sunday as the train back to Trondheim doesn't leave until 16:30 and there wasn't a lot to do in Røros on a Sunday when we had seen much on the Saturday.

No warm water for the shower. Problem was solved by offering shower in another room, but this sholdn't happen in a quite expensive hotel.

The hotel rooms are in need of a renovation as they look outdated and have a peculiar smell. The restaurant options are limited, and the quality could be improved.

Changed our booking , upgrading to room with bath and balcony. Food good, both evening buffet and breakfast. Convenient for bus and train.

The staff lacked adequate training in customer service. We had to ask for information regarding basic hotel facilities, and we were not informed about lunch and dinner availability in the hotel restaurant.
